1. No notification email is set. Admin → Tenant settings → Notification email. If it's blank, alerts are off — this is the single most common cause.
  2. Nothing is actually expiring or expired. The digest is intentionally quiet when there's nothing to report — no "all clear" email gets sent, so a day with no alerts due is a day with no email, by design.
  3. It's not yet the configured send time for today. The digest sends once at your tenant's chosen time zone/hour (and day, if weekly) — not continuously throughout the day. Check Admin → Tenant settings for the configured time and cadence.
  4. Alert delivery isn't enabled for this tenant yet. This is a one-time backend setup step. If the settings above look correct and you've genuinely got expiring/expired certs on file, this is the most likely remaining cause — contact support to confirm it's turned on for your account.
Fastest way to confirm the settings are right: check that a cert with a near-term or past expiry date actually exists in your directory (Admin dashboard's "Expiring & expired certifications" table shows this directly), then verify the notification email and schedule under Tenant settings.
