Go to Admin → Tenant settings:
- Notification email — where the digest is sent. Leave it blank and alerts are simply off.
- Time zone — the digest goes out in your tenant's own local time, not UTC.
- Alert frequency — Daily, or Weekly on a specific day.
- Time — the hour of day it sends.
Click Save. That's the whole end-user setup.
Only sends when there's something to report.
A run with zero expiring or expired certifications skips sending entirely — you won't get a daily "nothing to see here" email.
How the timing works
The alert check runs in the background continuously, but it only actually sends a digest once per tenant per configured day (or week) — right around the hour you picked, in your time zone. Changing the time or cadence takes effect on the next check.

New tenant?
Alert delivery has a one-time backend setup step performed when your FieldCred instance is provisioned. If the Tenant settings fields above are configured correctly and digests still never arrive, contact support to confirm alert delivery is enabled for your account.
